Just a reminder: when you plan events that were originally someone else's idea, then you should be giving credit.

I know this sounds like common sense, but I see way too many people just taking credit for things that are not theirs. ESPECIALLY when it comes to stealing from POC. Do better.

Bluesky app users can now only enable #adult content (default “hidden” for new users) by logging into their account on the web. This wouldn’t bother me if the Bluesky auto-labeller didn’t routinely mislabel my nonsexual non-erotic content as “adult” 👍

I'm sick & tired of hearing from medical professionals "meat allergies aren't real".
There's been experience and scientific evidence THERE IS.

And if it's not real you don't get a diagnosis. Without that people just continue to get sick & harm their body and/or pay out of pocket for special diet!

I just got an "ask" today about this bill: HR 1178 - the Alpha-gal Allergen Inclusion Act. It would require the FDA to note alpha-gal as a major allergy & include it in food labeling; a good idea for health & safety.

Alas, the "ask" I got was to call Senators; ...
