Comic following my OC Helios.
In the first panel he tells his general that he’s got all they needed from their informant. The informant nervously asks if he’s free to go. General Apollo in an undisclosed location essentially tells him to handle it as is so often the case. Helios follows orders although is remorseful for what he has to do. In a spread he uses his flames to incinerate the informant leaving no trace behind, making it quick and as painless as he possibly could. As his flames start to go out he laments, “Find peace in Hades.”

Some favorite creatures of mine.

Three female kalavinka, half human-half bird spirits from Buddhist folklore, are flying through the air while playing music. One is singing, one is playing percussion, one is playing electric guitar. Digital painting.

Dryad of the Oak or ‘Girl With Acorn Earring’

It is a version of the Vermeer portrait ‘Girl With Pearl Earring’ but this girl is a Dryad, a tree spirit from Greek Myth. Her hair is Oak leaves. A brown, shiny acorn hangs from her leaf-shaped ear.

Mountain Troll sits atop a stone cliff. We understand his massive size by the mountain goats that have climbed onto his arms and legs with the corresponding proportion of pet mice climbing on a person. The Mountain Troll has stone-like skin and a green moss-like beard. He smiles as he looks kindly at a mountain goat that has ventured onto his outstretched finger. Digital painting.

Quicksand Elemental rises from the murky swamp, skeletons of drowned victims are embedded in its body of slimy mud and tangled roots. It looks at you with glowing red eyes. Digital painting.
