Rough paint of the artist's forsaken OC, one from the knee up and one bust, she is in tattered, moldy robes and furs, holding a babe hidden in fabric wraps that doesn't quite look right with mottled, bruised skin on it's little arm and thornwood sticking from where it's face should be. | ☕

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.

I live in a 140 year old Victorian with the original doors (and a lot of everything else) and sometimes that means the brass door knobs don't turn and I get trapped in my bedroom and put in time out like a misbehaving pet
