This study evaluated oral vancomycin primary prophylaxis effectiveness in preventing C. difficile infection (CDI) in BMT patients. Bayesian Meta-analysis showed reduced CDI incidence during hospitalization. We present an innovative approach to adjust for publication bias. doi.org/10.1017/ash....

A blood culture algorithm safely reduced unnecessary cultures in SOT recipients - 25% were inappropriate, none missed true infections.

Low-cost interventions to improve ventilation in naturally-ventilated hospital spaces in Liberia were installed and evaluated. Louvered doors and windows were found to be effective and acceptable, while wind turbines may have mixed effects. doi.org/10.1017/ash....
