For those who love food watch this space as I'll be discussing what I'm eating in Nashville for the next 72h. This is my first time here in 9 years and imo the food situation in Nashville punches above its weight - let's hope this is still the case bec the food in Boston is rough

Having now lived in 2 of the richest cities in the world (Toronto, Boston) I'd like to remind people that the child poverty rates in parts of Toronto and Boston reach >30-40%. In case we need another reminder that the plot has been lost entirely

Most striking thing for me rotating through peds ID is how quickly many kids bounce back from severe infection. Meanwhile adults strain their backs reaching for their phone chargers from their beds and don't feel normal for at least 2 wks

I can't stop thinking about the time I said "v zed v" to a primary team and they didn't know what I was talking about because I didn't say "v zee v" (VZV) - yes Z is pronounced differently in 🇨🇦 vs 🇺🇸 but we are united against viruses
