A tale I must tell today on my late mother, and in doing so, I mean no actual disrespect to the Cheney family, grieving as they are for the actual loss of their loved one. The humor that follows is that of the Simon family's dark and dystropic sense of humor and so, an apology in advance.
However...

Academic leaders understood our ops far too late... it's as if the Council of Wizards watched while their most vulnerable mages got picked off then decided to suppress the acolytes who wanted to go to war with the villains.

Now the whole Ivory Tower's under siege & admins NEVER READ FANTASY NOVELS.

I feel seen.
I ate too many peanut butter filled pretzels. They looked like little pillows but they were crunchy. I ate all of them. I feel kind of sick now. This feels worse than a broken heart. And I did it to myself. I did it to myself. Oh god.

Men in plainclothes, one in a balaclava, raided the Charlottesville courthouse today. They abducted a local painter whose case (allegedly fighting with his roommate) was being dismissed, and another who was there paying fines. They took them away in unmarked vans.

WHOA. On March 15, a Cornell PhD student with UK and Gambian citizenship, here on a student visa, filed a lawsuit seeking to overturn Trump's EO aimed at foreign students accused of "antisemitism.

Last night, the DOJ emailed asking him to come to ICE to be detained and put into removal proceedings.

Last night’s article in the Washington Post about D.C. police responding to a 911 call by illegally letting DOGE onto private property is unlike any news story I have ever read. Every single person should read this article and think about where our society is going.

i find this notion that public spending is illegitimate bizarre as a matter of economics but totally legible as a statement of moral economy. and as per any strict system of morality, the punishment is part of the appeal. they are punishing the american people for believing in the public good.

"Funny"
A lucky trader just happened to put in a $200m trade with 50x leverage a few hours before a Trump pro-crypto announcement. The price of crypto jumped and this person made hundreds of millions. Pure luck I’m sure.

So disappointing a Colonel in the US Army, especially someone leading and mentoring our future military leaders would sign such a thing.
The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.
