I'm not a gambler. But Polymarket has the odds of a Ghislaine Maxwell pardon at 20%. And honestly I'd say that's a buy.

imo, if someone believes some races or ethnicities are genetically inferior to others, that person has revealed a weakness of mind and character that casts extreme if not irrefutable doubt on their other ideas. why would i expect them to use more rigor on, eg, housing than they do on human nature?

One of the reasons I find myself increasingly appreciating Christopher Nolan movies is that he’s the relatively rare small c conservative that still presents masculine virtue in this way. “Someone’s gotta do it, and today that’s you.” notions of duty and sacrifice increasingly absent in other media.

Love this. It should not be limited to this term. But it’s a great step forward.

Now @khanna.house.gov and other house members need to make the media tour , including Fox News, to talk about it

this confirms something i have long suspected, which is that certain people are told that their professional and academic failures are because of “affirmative action” or “DEI” as a way to avoid difficult conversations about their mediocrity www.wsj.com/lifestyle/ca...
You Blamed DEI for Hurting Your Career. Now What?
For people who pin their failures on diversity, corporate America’s DEI retreat removes a barrier—or maybe an excuse.

one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

Day 2 of Winter Break. Infighting has broken out among the ranks. Routine is absent. Pent up excitement makes for many conflicts. Despite a year of planning, rations inexplicably running low. Morale of leadership is waning with the thought of an additional 2 weeks of siege. Unclear how long we last.

I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.

CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants

So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election
