An extremely predictable and inevitable outcome, as the courts have, and now cannot really provide any relief from unlawful detention. As ice arrests become increasingly violent, there will certainly be deaths there as well. Will there be any accountability?
Just awful: A 75-year-old man just died in ICE custody, ICE has revealed in a notice to Congress.
But here's the rub: This man, a Cuban national, was first paroled into the US in 1966—nearly 60 years ago! They were set to deport him anyway.

Don't repeat right wing talking points against immigrants, poc & lgtbq communities. Stop taking corporate money. Stop supporting Israel's genocide. Stand up for marginalized communities attacked by Trump. Fight based on values not corporate consultants. Support Mamdani not Cuomo. Abolish ice.

I’m so happy he’s getting a chance to show his offensive talents once again. He’s been great at wingback, but just causes so much chaos in the final 3rd. Would love to him see him stay up as one of the two attacking mids, and let Lod drop back to solidify our central midfield.

I literally cannot find a fault in this statement after today’s ruling.
Funny how the US has basically the government of Iran now: Supreme Leader who rules by decree, priestly council with token opposition that decides whether the decisions are okay or not on arcane scriptural grounds, and completely ceremonial legislature

A few interesting points not being discussed openly in the manhunt for the assassin:
-What was he doing in between the two killings? They are approximately 10 minutes apart, yet there is 1.5 hours inbetween the crimes.
-how did he get back to his Minneapolis house around a 5:30 timeframe?
