<div class="field field-field-text"><p>A senior Hamas representative said on Tuesday that fewer than one percent of all the Palestinians killed by Israel in Gaza since the ceasefire came into effect in October have been actual fighters.</p>
<p>Ghazi Hamad said in video remarks that only 10 Palestinian fighters from across all factions are known to have been killed among the nearly 400 casualties since 10 October. </p>
<p>Producing a map of the Israeli-controlled territory in Gaza, Hamad said Israel has been killing civilians well beyond Israel's "yellow line" boundaries on Gaza's eastern and southern borders. </p>
<p>He added that the mediators - Qatar and Egypt - can attest to Hamas not having incurred a single ceasefire violation in that time.</p>
<p>Israel has also yet to produce any evidence to back up its allegations of Hamas' ceasefire violations, Hamad said.</p>

People need to know who to vote FOR, not who to vote against. “We’re not Trump, we’re not fascists, we won’t send ICE after you & we’ll keep SNAP going” isn’t anywhere near enough. We don’t just need to take Congress. We need a supermajority in both chambers to render Trump et al impotent next year.
EVERYBODY HERE who has a Dem representative, senator; state-level rep and/or senator, governor—basically if you have a Democrat representing you in any way, shape, or form—WRITE TO THEM, CALL THEM, contact them however you need to & TELL THEM THE PARTY NEEDS TO OVERHAUL ITS MESSAGING STRATEGY NOW.

<p dir="LTR">The conference is expected to take place on Friday at a teacher training seminar in Tel Aviv.</p>
<p dir="LTR">According to the conference programme, Yair Golan, head of The Democrats, will <a href="https://e.democrats.org.il/Democrats_OpenHouses/231307?utm_source=bewith&utm_medium=calendar" target="_blank">deliver</a> a speech after a recorded message by President Isaac Herzog.</p>
<p dir="LTR">Afterwards, a discussion will be held on the subject of "Responsibility and Leadership" with Eiland, alongside former Prime Minister Ehud Barak and former mayor of Beit Shemesh, Aliza Bloch.</p>
<p dir="LTR">According to Uri Weltmann, an activist in the left-wing Jewish-Palestinian group Standing Together, Eiland's participation in the conference "at the very least indicates that there are people in the leadership of the party who do not feel the need to distance themselves from statements that support starvation or support a sweeping attack on civilian population".</p>
