Words Without Borders is a treasure of the literary world.
Because we’re SO close to our goal, we’ve extended the deadline to give to our Spring Fund Drive! Can you donate $50 to WWB? In this tenuous time for the literary arts, you can make a huge difference. Fund a poem, a whole issue, or even a classroom visit at the link: wwborders.live/2025FundDrive

I've grown to hate the word "disrupt" in recent months, but I am nevertheless so grateful and excited to be working among so many talented, fascinating, and passionate people in #Artists360 and beyond.

Our communities will save us in the end, I truly believe that.

This past Monday, I read unpublished bilingual poems of mine at, Writers by the Lights, a reading hosted by students from my MFA program.
I was nervous and excited since bilingual poetry (bilingual anything, really) is quite niche, and it was my first time putting these out there.

What I like the most about translating my own culture/language into English is realizing things about it that I had never thought twice about. It's fucking fascinating and I have no idea how to best explain it.
