When something uses "AI" in any form it makes me immediately less confident about (and interested in, and appreciative of) anything else they've done. They've already surrendered at least some of their own intention and decision-making to a probabilistic algorithm, and so are less interesting to me.
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

A great way to open a horror movie is to start with a radically different kind of movie, only for that movie to be derailed by a horror movie. If your first act is a movie people would watch to the end without any fantastical elements, then you’ve really got something when the monsters show up.
