Many of us just want to know how bad it's going to get over the next 10 or 20 years. We want the grim details, without any sugar coating. We're mature enough to handle it. We're not little kids who need bedtime stories.

How Bad Will It Get?
An honest answer.

Bluesky suspended Sarah Kendzior today for no reason whatsoever. She just shared excerpts of her articles, which were as always incisive and not offensive at all. Hey @pfrazee.com this is super not OK. I know her- we've interacted a fair bit via chats and her work is essential.

Anyone who still defends Establishment Democrats just doesn't read enough. They secretly enable fascism so they can campaign off it. They've been doing it for a long time. They did it again last night.

A lot of people will keep telling you to "have faith in the system" simply because they need the rest of us to validate their delusions.

I can promise everyone on this planet, nobody wants to see neurodivergent people like me try to "smile more." For everyone's sake, don't make us do this.
November 8, 2025 at 8:23 PM
At least one study has shown that having to smile and perform happiness for patrons and customers shreds your mental health and leads to higher rates of drinking and substance abuse. What does it say about the fragility of Americans that everyone must smile at them constantly?
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.
Target is now requiring its employees to smile more
As the holiday season fast approaches, Target is urging its employees to add a little more “jolly” to their work routine.

Last time, it was the Mueller report. This time, it's the Epstein files. If anything is going to change for real, people have to wake up and see Trump and Epstein as products of a larger system built on exploitation and violence.

In central MD alone, ICE is rapidly contracting:

- AI skip tracing
- AI face recognition
- Cell tower spoofing vehicles
- Signal exploitation equipment
- 6 months of MREs for detainees
- Detainee transport vans
- Device cracking & data exploit firms
I have been actively watching contracts and surge funding over the last few days and what I would say to my friends in Baltimore is “be absolutely ready, right now.”
ICE poised to ramp up raids in Baltimore by Thanksgiving
The Trump administration has rush-ordered infrastructure to conduct raids, abduct residents, and detain people for months.

So many universities have shown us they actually don't care about anything other than money. It was always like that to some extent, but this last year...

On Friday, the university announced it will pay the Trump administration $30 million over three years for reasons unspecified.

It will also make hand over “anonymized” undergraduate admissions data directly to the federal government. trib.al/mQiT859

If MAGA can't force layoffs, they'll simply drag out the shutdown until federal employees start quitting in mass. Most of us can't go more than a few weeks without a paycheck, and they know because they made it that way.

AI is utterly incapable of serving humanity, because it consumes extraordinary amounts of water and other resources that humanity needs to live, at a time when we're running out of them.

Unfortunately, I think that's how they want it. They want white supremacists to be able to kidnap anyone they want. They'll "warn" us about it, they'll "urge" agents to ID themselves, when they could *require* them to, not just when they feel like it's "safe." They want to do nothing.
Well well well if it isn't the thing I have been talking about all week. If ice will not identify themselves how do we know that they are actually real ice agents? How can we possibly be resisting arrest when we believe we are trying to escape a kidnapping by masked and identified men w/o warrants?
FBI Warns of Criminals Posing as ICE, Urges Agents to ID Themselves

If nothing else, I can agree with this statement by Jeffries.
Jeffries: “One of the reasons why Republicans were so decisively defeated all across America yesterday is because their policies have been a complete and total failure…They said they were going to focus on making life more affordable and have done the exact opposite.”
