I am not an attorney so I cannot speak to how out of bounds this is apparently for all y'all legal eagles out there. But, I do watch the Real Housewives. Highly recommend reading the Jerry Smith dissent in the voice of Lisa Barlow.
In a remarkable and deeply unconventional dissent, U.S. Circuit Judge Jerry E. Smith unleashed a blistering and bizarre attack on his fellow judges after a federal court struck down Texas’ unconstitutional racial gerrymander. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

I can't emphasize how unhinged the dissent in the Texas redistricting ruling is... Soros is mentioned so many times I lost count. This is like your NewsMax pilled uncle on steroids.
In an unhinged dissent in our Texas redistricting victory, a GOP appointed judge seems to believe that George Soros and I did...well, I'm not sure what...but he is very mad. Bigly.

Quiet, piggy is resonating so much because it’s truly a distillation of him: mean, childish, and so trapped in the 1980’s

Would like to note that the author of this opinion blocking Texas from using the congressional maps from their redistricting bill is a Trump appointee
"Substantial evidence shows that Texas racially gerrymandered the 2025 Map."

Full ruling from the Western District of Texas blocking the state from using the new congressional maps passed this summer.

I was wondering when this ruling was finally going to come down. The three-judge panel in El Paso has blocked the new congressional maps from the redistricting bill. According to @democracydocket.com Texas is expected to appeal to the Supreme Court.

It’s important that we recognize after all this time that Trump doesn’t believe in the concept of sex crimes. What’s more, he takes the idea of such crimes as a personal affront, an attack on how he has treated women his whole life.

as a reporter, the part of this that i’ve simply never understood is how the next person to ask a question when he does something like this doesn’t simply repeat the question that set him off. it’s not just solidarity with your colleague, it’s an important question that remains worth asking
I’m not going to pretend it’s easy to say something in the moment when you witness the president do this and you’re aboard Air Force One with all the uniformed officers and secret service and fancy wood accents, but this is really an instance where you should. people.com/donald-trump...

This is when you truly understand how isolated this man is, because there is no way someone with true loved ones would have them sit idly by as they slurred and babbled like this
Trump is ranting barely coherently to McDonald's franchise owners: "The one pilot said, 'skedaddle!' And that thing just turned on its side -- pppph. And it's so unbelievable. And that knocked out Iran nuclear capability."

Memories! It feels like just yesterday he called his wife ugly and said his father was involved in the JFK assassination.
Q: There's a report that Ted Cruz is laying the groundwork for a 2028 presidential run. Would you consider supporting him?

TRUMP: I haven't spoken to him about it. It's a little early. We had quite a campaign against Ted and it worked out quite nicely. We're in the Oval Office.

This is a 19-paragraph article to which 7 journalists contributed; it contains not a single hint that there is any impropriety in the President of the United States directing the Justice Department to investigate his political adversaries.

The Vice President of the United States went on a big television thingy and said he was a big Grok guy and I just want to note this thing's stupidpedia says Jennifer Aniston met Vince Vaughn on "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"

For reasons I don't want to get into but might have to do with me having had two glasses of wine, I have ventured into Grokipedia. This is the third paragraph for Jennifer Aniston:

Huh going through some Epstein emails:

"He seems like a wife that has been divorced for a younger girl."
November 13, 2025 at 3:09 PM
I have also been thinking about all the major media figures who knew about all this, and/or didn't feel it was important to uncover or tell the public. How many of them frankly admired or were jealous of someone with this proximity to Epstein.
What really comes through in the birthday book and the emails is how many of these rich and powerful guys were amazed and jealous of how Epstein devoted his entire life to the rape and abuse of children while they could only dabble in it

NYT: but her emails
Landon Thomas Jr of the New York Times got told by Jeffrey Epstein that Trump walked into a glass door bc he was so busy staring at girls in Epstein's house and didn't print it. wild that the Times didn't consider that newsworthy.

"For immigrant rights advocates, the arrests and detention of immigrants with valid DACA protection is proof that the administration is trying to create something of a loophole: undermining the program’s core protections piecemeal without formally—and publicly—terminating it through regulation."
Catalina “Xóchitl” Santiago spent nearly two months in ICE detention—despite having protection under DACA—until a federal judge ruled that the government had no reason to keep her in custody and ordered her release.

DHS is still vowing to "explore every available option to remove" her. My latest:

Immigrants brought here as children were told they wouldn’t be deported. Now, they’re being targeted anyway.

What Ken Paxton is doing here is deranged -- suing organizations that provide legal assistance to immigrants (especially immigrant children) -- and also we should see it as the test case for what the GOP wants to do.
There is nothing illegal—or unconstitutional—about funding legal support to ensure fairness in the courts. This lawsuit is a political stunt, wasting taxpayer dollars at a time when our communities need integrity, not spectacle.

Reading this story and remembering that one of the goals of Project 2025 was to end Head Start
Head Start program closures add to Texas child care crisis
Hundreds of families lost child care when certain programs weren’t funded earlier this month, and scores more may be affected if Congress doesn’t fund the government by Dec. 1.
