electrical update: our entire building’s power had to be shut off bc turning the dryer on killed all our lights, the power to the dryer, and probably the fridge if the smell of burnt mechanics is any indication

anyway apparently we’re not in any fire danger and it’s a main breaker/circuit/whatever issue for the whole building so I just have a new (temporary) built in ✨party mode✨ on every light fixture in the apartment (except the closets for some reason, don’t try to party in there)

my heart is broken and angry for Brown, and the families of the students who were killed. At least two confirmed students who were on campus have now survived TWO school shootings. Today marks 13 years since Sandy Hook. It doesn’t fucking have to be like this. It never had to be like this.
