Just another Twitter refugee looking for blue skies and a much bluer wave in 2026. Democrat my whole life. Resister since 2015. 💙

For me it's the way the press pool just quietly went along with it because he's the president

The entire point of this country is that we don't have to let some guy do whatever he wants just because of his title. We don't have to respect him or go along with him just because he holds an office
I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

On top of his crypto grifts, real estate deals, and other corrupt ways he profits from the presidency, Trump now literally wants his own DOJ to pay him $230M.

He does this all while his tariffs raise prices on Americans.

An insane, unprecedented level of blatant corruption.
Trump: "It's awfully strange to make a decision where I'm paying myself. But I was damaged very greatly and any money I would get I would give to charity."

Things to do in the future:

1. Putting them all on trial for crimes against humanity at the Hague

2. Totally reforming entire government to root out corruption and abuse of power so this bullshit never happens again

3. At some point you’d imagine, brunch

Whether you're a Democrat or Republican, you probably privately agree on this much:

Trump and his lawyers—Bondi and Patel—are ACTING like the Epstein Files include smoking-gun evidence of Trump raping kids.

They are ACTING like a domestic military escalation is worth distracting us from the Files.

25 people could stop this. Twenty GOP senators and five GOP representatives could summon the courage of their lives: vote to impeach, and then convict.

And then do it again if Vance doesn't learn the intended lesson.

It doesn't even have to mean a Democratic president. Just an end to lawlessness.
The US is on a collision course for a constitutional crisis, as Trump attempts to federalize members of red states and send them to invade blue states against the will of the governors in blue states such as Illinois and California.👇

exact same for me. Fetterman *simply was not like this as Lt Gov,* there was no grand conspiracy to knife his constituents, what happened was a stroke
As a PA Dem, I’ve rarely felt more betrayed politically than by Fetterman. He ran as a Bernie-style Dem in 2018 and I was happy he was made Lt. Gov, where he often signaled support for liberal causes.

He didn’t mention a desire to move right at all when he campaigned for his seat in ‘22.

If Trump is allowed to murder civilians at sea, he is allowed to murder civilians in your streets. Charges need to be drawn up for his actions in the Caribbean and presented to a US court, military court, and international court. Everyone involved must also face charges.

The cruelest thing about the Trump/Kennedy pseudoscience press conference today is that there are now women who believe they caused their child’s autism.

To those women: you didn’t.

Hey if you’ve never seen the word before, you should probably look into it more before making completely baseless links to lifelong health conditions
Trump: "Asceda -- well, let's see how we say that. Ascenem -- enophin. Acetaminophen. Is that okay?"

The one good thing about this “run America like a business” nightmare is that more people are beginning to realize how corrupt and craven many businesses truly are.

Take notes.

Never forget how they abandoned us.

Don’t forgive their complicity.

If Democrats ever get power again there needs to be a proper reckoning. Criminals need to be indicted, prosecuted and convicted for trying to subvert our democracy and rights for Trump.

There is no room for Merrick Garlands and milquetoast centrists anymore.

You need accountability.

It is the job of the Democratic party to sell and defend the policies that most Democratic voters want, not to present a candidate slate that is palatable to moderate Republicans who might switch if they hate their own candidate enough.

Tommy Tuberville, arguably the dumbest senator to ever be elected, figured out how to hold up hundreds of military promotions for almost a year because he had a tantrum about abortion.

Dems need to treat this like the emergency it is and use the tools that normal citizens don’t have.
The wild thing, to me, is how Mitch McConnell—when he was Minority Leader—did so much to constantly fuck up what the dems—WHO HAD THE MAJORITY—wanted/tried to do, and now minority dem leaders do not have (or use) that same power/tactics.

Wtf.

Anyone proposing that an official be allowed to revoke the passport of a citizen for criticizing *this* country would be rightly regarded as batshit insane and deeply hostile to this country's laws and traditions.

Proposing that they can do that if we criticize some *other* country?

Fuck. That.

Wow Trump’s already over it. Predictable. When will they learn Trump doesn’t care about anyone but himself?
Q: My condolences on the loss of your friend Charlie Kirk. How are you holding up?

TRUMP: I think very good. And by the way, right there you see all the trucks. They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they've been trying to get for about 150 years.
