Cool so what happens if GOP attach a national abortion ban to a CR? You'll vote for that too?

🚮
My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

KEEP CALLING. PEEL OFF ALL DEM SENATORS YOU CAN.

☎️: (202) 224-3121

Tell them to vote NO on Cloture and NO on CR. Vote is pushed to after 1:15ish for now. Situation is fluid.

The only public YES votes are Schumer and Fetterman. They need 7-8 total. KEEP CALLING.

Call retiring Senators too!

That's a nice quote from Jacobs. But to the best of my knowledge, Gruden himself hasn't actually taken accountability for the comments in full, which is what growth actually looks like.
Gruden may or may not be a coach again but you dragging him is punching down. Raiders running back Josh Jacobs said "I've been around this guy for 3 years. I've never felt a certain type of way about him. He's never rubbed me a certain way. I definitely trust him. It was 10 years ago; people grow."

I do not understand how or why anyone would buy one now.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election.

Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

donald trump gave elon musk the second controller and kept it unplugged
the DOGE agency will not have the authority to reallocate funds (nor would that be constitutional), it is a PR tool to create the impression that government spending is inherently wasteful and build political momentum for spending cuts
Hypothetical. I'm curious what people think. If the DOGE agency worked on the premise that half of all savings in a federal program were distributed as increased benefits to qualified recipients, would you consider the details ?
