As Farage is about to set out his economic vision, let’s recall that Kent County Council was due to be Reform’s “flag ship” demonstrating they are ready to Govern

KCC is increasing council tax, despite pledging to cut it, and has now had to ask the opposition to help them try and find savings❗️🤦🏼‍♂️

It’s fascinating comparing the front page coverage of the Huntingdon train attack (below) with how the British press treated another case 30 years ago.

I’m referring to the 1995 Netto supermarket attack in Birmingham in which a man stabbed 10 people, killing one of them.

It's super easy to switch. Not justifying the increase in any way - it's disgusting.
Ofcom needs a total reboot.
O2 price rises above those allowed in the contract

It's great to see the Labour are in discussions with Ofcom to see how they can best help people affected directly by this and also more widely support telecoms customers.

Measures under discussion included in the next post.

Grear idea.
But leave at least some of the extra cash with local councils.
Nothing but positivity for this idea

Progressive.

Better than a transactions tax, doesn't gum up the market.

Encourages downsizing.

Raises useful cash.

Even Osborne likes it.

Looking forward to paying it...

New YouGov polling. That’s a peak for the Greens. Amazing how a good communicator with vision can turn around a party’s fortunes.

RFM: 27% (+1)
LAB: 17% (-3)
CON: 17% (=)
GRN: 16% (+1)
LDM: 15% (=)

Also Labour’s lowest in a YouGov poll.

The whiter the area the more likely it is to have a Reform problem. Immigration isn’t the problem, otherwise you’d get Reform in more diverse areas - it’s fear of change among older people.

I’ve got a lot more accepting of left wing analysis of the media that I previously thought was a bit paranoid or overdone.
Sorry to have to share this but this evidence that the leader of the free world has gone insane is apparently not newsworthy to the BBC, the Times etc
