I wrote a long thread about this over on the hellsite a while back. We are rapidly entering a situation in which there are no credible official sources of data -- economic data, weather data, trade data -- and so it is going to be literally impossible to know what is happening.
1) Economic growth is slowing. So the Trump administration wants to redefine "economic growth" -- by removing government production from GDP.
