My dentist fixed my broken crown for free. What a wonderful guy. Been going to him since I was a youngin. Went to pay and his wife at the front desk just said, “happy holidays. No charge. Just don’t do it again,” and we all laughed.

I do not begrudge paywalls for news sites or political opinions. They need funding. But surely SOMEONE can come up with a temporary “rental” rate that allows you to read this one particular article that has caught your attention instead of a full subscription…?

A quick Google search revealed that "$143.95" has been charged to THOUSANDS of Apple accounts.
