OF COURSE SPEED CAMERAS WORK! There’s clear evidence of that. They save lives, and removing them will costs lives, including KIDS’ LIVES. The narrative of “cash grab” is a political tactic. Every dollar raised by such cameras is evidence of too much deadly speeding and the need for such cameras.

I wish we had a culture of driving that respected rules like speed limits. Instead, we have a culture where enforcing basic useful rules about how fast you can operate a multi-ton machine is considered “unfair” or a “cash grab”.

I spoke many times with Catherine McKenna about the failure of the RCMP/Parliamentary Security to address rising levels of threat.
Homes were outfitted with security cameras but little was done to track online threats.
Good people gave up on serving the public.
