He gives some episode IX Palpatine vibes in act three but I still think he does such a good job acting in that movie he’s still indisputably the best part.
The more time that passed the more shocked I am by how messy Gladiator II was. I assume all the scenes that would make Denzel Washington’s character make sense were left on the cutting room floor, but it’s truly wild how goofy he ends up being in the final cut, especially in the third act.
