I know a lot of Catholics in my life (myself included) that are really hoping we get Tagle. Who would probably send most evangelicals into a coma considering how they reacted to Francis

I find it kinda ironic. You’d expect the younger branch to be more forward thinking. But then again Catholicism as it stands today is the product of like over 1000 years of scholastic hand wringing lol

I thought in some ways it was a little campy because there were definitely other things in the film that felt especially campy. Like the sharks and coffee/newspaper. But I think this film had a bit of a tone problem at times in fairness.
