Monday meditation at noon, 10 minutes to dream a better alternative than the narrative being fed to us
The family of David Lynch invites us all around the world to come together at noon Monday for a worldwide group meditation for 10 minutes- I will definitely be there to help raise the vibration on an otherwise dark day. #davidlynch

Good analysis of why fact checking on social media matters in a world where false claims are sticky + go viral so fast.

But no mention of how X + Meta have altered their algorithms to suppress expert accounts & factual info.

Fact checking on those platforms isn’t a level field. It’s a steep cliff.
Climate misinformation is rife on social media – and poised to get worse
Meta’s decision could open the floodgates to more climate misinformation on its apps, including misleading or out-of-context claims during disasters.

Mad at Meta? Don't Let Them Collect and Monetize Your Personal Data
If you’re fed up with Meta right now, you’re not alone. Meta tracks you across millions of websites and apps and its business model relies on your data. If you want to limit Meta’s ability to collect ...

So proud of @katekelly.bsky.social !! ERA is a full ammendment of our constitution!!
I’m seeing a lot of confusion about the Equal Rights Amendment online.

I've been working on the ERA for 13 years & literally wrote a book about it.

So, let me help answer some questions.

1) Yes, it really is a real amendment & fully part of the U.S. Constitution. Full stop.

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge).

You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

We need to believe in each other the way David Lynch believed in Kyle. Make weird art! Make art weird again! Stop making content and learn to be content.
was mostly keeping it together until I read Kyle MacLachlan's tribute to David Lynch

Trump vilified tech giants. Now they’re giving him millions.
After years in which Trump called them enemies of the people, Silicon Valley executives are hoping $1 million gifts and Mar-a-Lago dinners will mend bridges with the president-elect.
