After the first shot, he fired twice more knowing he missed but these shots entered from the side window…the secretary of homeland security basically gave Minneapolis prosecutors its case!

I link to this excellent piece in my post for tomorrow.
Wrote a piece for @slate.com explaining that states have a long history of prosecuting federal officers when they allegedly use excessive force. Federal officers are only immune from such prosecutions when they act reasonably in carrying out lawful duties.

ICE lied about the person it shot, claiming he was a "criminal," but NBC finds that he had no criminal history whatsoever. Not even traffic tickets in 12 years! It also lied about the extent of the injuries to its agents....
