Katie Wilson will be Seattle's next mayor, She defeated a pro-police pro-developer incumbent who had $2-million in PAC cash to throw at her. It didn't work. Zohran, move over. Make room for another progressive mayor.

Elon doesn't want users to post links to external media. He not only throttles such accounts literally, but figuratively as well: if journalists & activists are punished for promoting news & information, he's destroying their visibility & presence on the platform. Which is part of the plan I suppose

Progressives around the US: there is more than 1 progressive mayoral candidate who is winning election: Katie Wilson is now ahead of Bruce Harrell by 91 votes with 6,400 more ballots to count. She's on the cusp of being 1 of the most progressive, if not THE more progressive mayor in Seattle history.
If Katie is now 91 votes ahead with 6,400 more ballots to be counted, she should pick even more votes & be ahead by more than 91 votes after tomorrow. So even if the 1,700 unsigned ballots aren't counted, Katie should win with the ballots that *have* been counted, no?
There are 1,700 ballots that need signature confirmation. That is enough to change the election.

Something I noticed when I went to CPAC this last year: how few young women were there. Historically, conservatives joked that CPAC was a place where they could find right-wing women and have sex (and not just gay sex as the jokes go). It's almost entirely young dudes now.

After all the op-eds and pained protestations and talk of Community and Love and Seeing Past Differences, multiple Very Public Rabbis are still very loudly saying that criticism of Israel is ipso facto antisemitic. Okay, I get it, nothing can be said to dissuade you. Enjoy your likes and pageviews!
