Progressives around the US: there is more than 1 progressive mayoral candidate who is winning election: Katie Wilson is now ahead of Bruce Harrell by 91 votes with 6,400 more ballots to count. She's on the cusp of being 1 of the most progressive, if not THE more progressive mayor in Seattle history.

It OFfers the 23 homicide 2025 statistic as alarmi. But offering context shows that during the same period in 2024, there were approxminately 41 homicides compared to 23 this yr. That's a 40% reduction. 2023 rate was a 36% reduction fr 2022.
