I don’t know why this hasn’t sunk in for ppl yet but I repeat, this started on Tumblr. Radfems pushed their ideas in fandom spaces on Tumblr. It was very common to see posts circulating with captions like ‘OP was a TERF so I stole this’, and it was really prevalent around 2012-2013
Unsure if it’s endemic to twitter in particular because of the way stan culture has developed on there, but people on there simply hate sex and especially women having sex
