When Europeans find out you are an American journalist they have a lot of questions…not about how this happened, they are familiar, but essentially along the lines of: when will America have a general strike?

Just an absolute dogshit newspaper.
For Republicans, “a Mamdani mayoralty would be the political gift that keeps on giving,” our columnist Bret Stephens writes about the New York mayoral race. “The state of the city would become a reflection of the Democratic Party writ large.”

Jeffries is not up to this moment. He can’t lead the fight against facism. He’s just another suit who doesn’t represent us.
Hakeem Jeffries again declines to endorse Zohran Mamdani, saying "I don't know him well."

CHRIS HAYES: Why are you not endorsing the guy that won the democratic primary in a contested election in your backyard?

JEFFRIES: I didn't get involved in that primary election, and I don't know him well.

Have national Dems, who claim to want to "win back" the working class, said anything yet about ICE injuring and arresting the head of the SEIU of California?

It’s journalistic malpractice for NBC News to spend 34 words in a headline and subhead about the flying bribe from Qatar and not give any hint of the mind-blowingly corrupt nature of the deal. If you’re afraid to honestly explain why it’s a scandal, at least call it “controversial.”

Wow an elected Senate Democrat doing something that properly channels the rage we are all feeling!

It only took them five months to figure out this is what we want--instead of betraying us by rolling over and letting Trump do what he wants like Chuck Schumer did-- so lets encourage more of this!

In other news, NETFLIX spent $315 million on this movie ELECTRIC STATE and I can't finish it because it's so boring and meaningless.

Just imagine the waste. 30 independent movies made by filmmakers with something to actually say could've been funded for 10 million a piece.

Remarkable.

I would like to address Schumer’s alarmist line that the courts will “stop” unless Democrats CAVE IN to Trump’s budget.
As I’ve written *repeatedly* THE COURTS WILL NOT STOP TRUMP, NOR HAVE THEY.
They’ve told him to turn the money back on ALREADY… HE HASN’T!!

There is a vacancy for leadership in the Democratic Party.

It's a brand new ball game. Forget the old rules and customs. No one "deserves" anything due to age and seniority and donors.

It's up for grabs, Democrats. Time to step up. Whoever is a fighter will be rewarded.

And yes, protecting trans people from discrimination is a vital purity test.

It is pathetic and disgusting how many people who claim to be Democrats are failing it.
