Leavitt: "The NYT took about 1/3 of the president's daily calendar & schedule & said that he's doing less than he did in his first term, or he might not be fit for the job. That is unequivocally false and it's deeply unfortunate that the story was written ... he is taking meetings around the clock"

My bipartisan IRS MATH Act with Senator Bill Cassidy is now law.

Now, if you mess up your taxes, the IRS has to tell you where you made a mistake and how to fix it.

No more spending a fortune on lawyers or hours to find errors.

That means fewer headaches and more money in your pocket.

There’s a lot to unpack here…

Bombing vessels in the Caribbean without congressional authorization is already an unconstitutional use of military force.

Hegseth’s double tap on survivors looks like a war crime, and both Armed Services Committees want him in the chair to answer for it.

"For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal."

I’ve never been a “defund the police” type of guy. I believe that police are necessary, despite their flaws.

But ICE is different. I am 100% behind ending their existence and prosecuting every single one of them.

ICE must go. End of discussion.

When you've lost Andrew McCarthy...

(McCarthy has been a critic of the whole campaign, and correctly holds that none of this is warfare in a legal sense to begin with, but here also correctly holds that even if it *is* warfare, the actions described are illegal.)

The hypocrisy is stunning.
