Quite frankly, it’s outrageous that Mark Carney is cutting Statistics Canada. If he was Stephen Harper or Pierre Poilievre, I feel like this would be getting a lot more backlash.

Carney of all people should know the importance of high-quality data and information about the country.

Our two largest parties are 1) actively cheering illegal kidnapping of a president and 2) acting like a kicked dog in the face of US aggression.

It’s pathetic cowardice, not leadership.

And this cowardice puts our country at risk.

Canada, like other western states, is worried about alienating Trump. But that just invites isolation next time, when it's your turn over the barrel, and everyone else stays silent for fear of alienating Trump.
