I’ve heard a lot about the #paxlovid mouth side effect but I didn’t realize until now that it’s a strong enough sensory experience to disrupt my sleep, like sleeping in a noisy or brightly lit room.

I think there are lot of well-meaning non-trans people who think gender-affirming care is a luxury or aspirational thing, like dental veneers or nose jobs. "Sure, it'd be nice if trans folks had this care but they don't need it, do they?"
