Video game giant Rockstar has sacked more than 30 workers across the UK, including my constituents working at their Edinburgh office. I urged Ministers to support workers who have lost their jobs, and stop this from happening again.

Whitlam Dismissal take

The greatest achievement of the Dismissal has been the crushing of the ALP’s ambition to actually bring a better world into being.

Hawke sealed the deal by making the mark of success decent management of a capitalist economy.

Now it’s just ambition to be in government.

Here’s my breakdown of EA’s pending sale… to Saudi Arabia… and why this is much, much bigger than video games. I’m late to this from a ‘news’ perspective obviously, but it’s because I worked on this video for about a month.

Done.
Non-US folks should really do this survey, the last question is about whether you’ve cancelled travel plans to the US or are reconsidering travel plans due to current policies. GDC needs to know this, maybe some talks could go online live with enough feedback? Maybe they could even lobby? Who knows!
Folks who make video games! @officialgdc.bsky.social is running the annual State of the Industry survey again. You should take the chance to weigh in!

The survey's gone through a major overhaul this year and your voice will matter even more: gdconf.typeform.com/SOTI26

For some reason the media is not mentioning that the reason GTA6 is being delayed is they fired 40 staff over threats of unionization and now the rest of their staff are revolting

Something worth noting: Rockstar is leaning HEAVILY on the excuse that the unionising employees were "leaking private company information"

They want people to assume this means game info or assets.

But I will bet you CASH MONEY this translates to:

'they were comparing salaries and work contracts"

“According to the polling of nearly 2,000 people across Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) …62 per cent of respondents said they supported solar and wind development, while only 17 per cent opposed it.”

It’s wild that opposition is so much more visible than support!
Claims that solar and wind are deeply unpopular among Australia’s regional communities have been challenged by the results of a new poll.

Please take these games off of me
Okay! Christmas comes early as I just realised there are a lot of keys I purchased last year that expire in less than a month! (Some expire in 3 days)

So comment down below for a free game! No guarantee's that they'll work but it's free so who gives a damn!

This is the most ruthless act of union busting in the history of the UK games industry. Yesterday, @rockstargames.com unfairly fired over 30 employees for union activity.

We won't back down, and we're not scared - we will fight for every member to be reinstated.
BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.
