Mamdani appealed to many New Yorkers, especially young people (ie, literally the future), by focusing on kitchen table issues like housing affordability and food deserts. It’s not surprising that an out of touch millionaire born with a silver foot in his mouth doesn’t understand the appeal.

I want to circle back to this because several days after the manhunt concluded, I have heard from many friends in areas impacted by the search and I still have a lot to concerns and no answers. Cont.
It’s frustrating that law enforcement was staging at our middle school and tracking a vicious murderer in North Minneapolis all day and residents receive no information or warning to stay in our homes and only knew about it from the people who live across the street from where the SWAT team parked.
