“If this is meant to intimidate me and other members of Congress ... holding this administration accountable, it won’t work,” Sen. Mark Kelly, a Navy veteran, said. “I’ve given too much to this country to be silenced by bullies who care more about their own power than protecting the Constitution.”

I know it is hard. I fail at this too. But instead of reacting to somebody else’s take on an article, try reading it yourself first.

Marjorie Taylor Greene's resigning in time to get a pension is a lesson to everyone.

Most Americans don't get *any* pension anymore, but Congress gave itself a pension after only five years of work.

Our "representatives" aren't working for us, they are [barely] working for themselves.

COP30 overpromised, underdelivered, empowered distractions, backtracked on issues and once again gave big oil and big ag a free pass.

Unfortunately, the suspicions of climate scientists (here in Brazil and abroad) were confirmed again.

Why would you expect "truth" from an LLM?

They're there to gather and provide information and it's YOUR JOB to assess the answer. They can be right or wrong just as a textbook can be right or wrong (and trust me, there's a lot of wrong information in text books).

Let’s talk about “Move fast and break things.” First of all, Facebook itself changed its motto to “Move fast with stable infrastructure” in 2014. So much for breaking things, at least if you’re a soulless corporate behemoth.

The only people who would be upset at service members being reminded of their oath, their obligation to the Constitution and their obligations under the UCMJ is someone planning on issuing unconstitutional and illegal orders to the military.

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

Americans deserve better than someone who spews hate and perpetuates political violence in the White House.
