Federal spending is *up* under Trump according to the Wall Street Journal. Chaos is not actually the same as cost savings.

Actual budgeting is a kind of actual policy-making and takes real work spread over real time. Running around breaking stuff isn't that.

Just incredible. Hassett never said the 90-day pause thing. The upward move in the market this morning appears to have been entirely driven by fake news started on Twitter/X
Apparently the Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said Trump will consider a 90 day pause on the tariff policy excepting China, per CNBC, but no one is sure where that was first reported.

The American president did not show up to receive their remains as they arrived in the US.

He had a golf tournament to get to.

Apropos of nothing: Kamala Harris predicted this exact moment happening:

“Understand that part of Trump’s plan is to put in place a national sales tax of at least 20% on everyday goods and necessities.”

She warned us over & over again & she was so right.

The arrogance, hubris, and stupidity of thinking that The Atlantic wouldn’t just publish the full thread if they tried to deny what was in it…

And the responsibility the Senate bears for confirming these yutzes to such important national security positions in the first place…

UNREAL: DOJ's response to a federal appeals court judge saying that DOJ's argument would mean she could have been picked up and sent to a prison in El Salvador under Trump's order was not: "No, your honor," but rather, "That's not the record here."
MILLETT: "Y'all could have picked me on Saturday, and put me on a plane."

ENSIGN: "Your honor, nothing of the sort is presented by the record here."
