Having now finished it, I am confident in saying that del Toro’s Frankenstein, rather than being an adaptation of Shelley’s novel, or a form of homage to Whale’s film, is instead the gritty reboot of Rocky Horror that no one wanted.

New York: votes overwhelmingly for the democratic socialist.
The majority of democrats and disillusioned working-class soft GOP voters: hell yeah!
Senate Democrats: oh yeah, no, fuck that, lol.

I recently watched the “Coda” version of Godfather III and thought, “huh, yes some parts are terrible but not as horrific as I remember.”
So, I thought, let’s give the Star Wars prequels yet another go.
Now I’m just… how did they get even worse with time?

Caving on a deal that doesn’t fix health care is, and always has been, a giant betrayal of the American people.
Hold the line. Save health care. I’m a NO on anything that doesn’t extend ACA subsidies.

The Staten Island Ferry is free. Mamdani is just bringing the Staten Island Ferry experience to New York's buses. Who could object to that?
“I know you can’t afford things but we also cannot afford things” will be, I predict, a losing message. The world’s first trillionaire is on the horizon. “We can’t afford transportation, healthcare, food and shelter” will no longer cut it for the “progressive” party.
Hochul a 'no' on Mamdani's free bus plan; 'yes' on statewide universal childcare
The price tag to expand a universal childcare program statewide is $15B.
