This kid is 15, and so has a moral clarity and uprightness that no adult elected official would or could ever have. There aren't really and never have been two sides of this issue, but if it has to be argued as a binary thing I don't see how anything less than this could seem like the side to be on.
this is a letter to the editor from a high school track runner who came in second to a trans girl in a race. her state house rep in maine started talking about it. so she wrote this: www.pressherald.com/2025/05/14/r...

A man just sloppily ambled by my car, chest-heaving as he pounded out his 1.5 mile per hour pace. He was either a high homeless man, or a late-middle aged dude who realized for the first time in his life that he should get some exercise.

Either way I did the subtle reach to lock the doors.

I still go to the store and shop for my own groceries.

Evolution has changed things--men used to need to go hunting and kill their food to keep them and their family alive.

Doing your own shopping is now equivalent to that. I am Jason, I am alpha male.

Last night I had a very vivid dream that I survived a plane crash. And there was such relief that came from knowing that I had survived a plane crash. It was sort of like inoculating myself from ever dying in a plane crash

The biggest thing that changes as you become an adult is that the time spent being concerned about spiders takes a dramatic drop.

I just learned something horrifying that I will now burden you with for the rest of your life:

There are over 10,000 rare diseases. 30 million Americans will develop a rare disease. So what that means is—getting a rare disease is not very rare at all.

America—where a rapist can be elected president—but we’ll be damned if we’ll let a rapist become Attorney General. There are still barriers to break 🫡
