The Atlantic still sporadically has good articles by good writers, but it can't be ignored that the publication's management believes their mission is to normalize fascism among highbrows, which is why they keep vomiting out longform attacks on fascist targets.
I'm sorry but they're gutting the Dept of Education, rolling out plans for mass deportations--including sending migrants to Guantanamo--dismantling the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the NLRB, and the Atlantic's first issue of the Trump era is "How Progressives Froze the American Dream"?
