I hope the rest of the world steps up for Jamaica because they certainly can't count on the US. Some of the best people I know are from that island. I wish everyone in the path of that monster luck and safety. It must be terrifying.

It's bizarre when the national political spotlight gets turned on your home state. All of a sudden everyone watches a 15 minute Youtube video or two, reads some tweets and skeets, and they have big, super "well-informed" opinions about a political arena they knew nothing about yesterday.

I'm sure I must be forgetting one but I can't remember a more overtly racist campaign than the one Cuomo is running against Mamdani. And most of America is just cool with it. The guy who got a bunch of dudes to beat up brown people in the subway is not the most racist person in the race. Crazy.

How much money that could be spent fighting Trump is the Dem establishment going to waste trying to prop up Janet Mills against Graham Platner? I swear the Dems haven't done anything about gun control so they can be free to shoot themselves in the foot at every opportunity.

Typing "I dont know what constitutes genocide" would have been easier.
I was asked "what would be different if this really were an intentional genocide against the Palestinians," and no one wants to hear the reality that it would be over by now. Genocide is not "a brutal and indiscriminate war that goes on for a long time." War crimes are not genocide.
