This weekend, the family went to M&M Marketplace to donate items for their toy drive. Then, we went to our local park and had fun throwing around tennis balls for our puppy. Being a member of a community means supporting those in need while also benefiting from local amenities.

I traveled to the East Coast for a wedding this weekend. I went to the No Kings protest in Philadelphia, it was powerful to chant 'No Kings' where the constitution was signed. Then, I visited some friends and family in DC and found a great quote at the FDR memorial.

Labor Day is a day to celebrate and commemorate how unions have improved our lives, from 8-hour workdays to the minimum wage. I spent part of the day with Indivisible Forest Grove and listening to great speeches by Juan Carlos Gonzalez and @nafisafai.bsky.social
