DC does not have a triumphal arch, despite all its other Roman architecture, because they are an imperial and not a republican symbol. A hypothesis has emerged that the student who deservedly failed, Samantha Fulnecky, may have set up Curth for exactly this outcome. I don’t know at all if it has any merit.
