Trump 2.0 will be chaotic and destructive. Many of the key institutions of liberal democracy will be weakened if not obliterated. But this is not because Trump is a sinister and powerful mastermind. He's a rich credulous dope who surrounds himself with other rich credulous dopes, like this guy.
The Laura Loomer story line made me remember back to January of 2018 when I did a deep dive into the bizarro world of Dr. Eric Kaplan, a rich doctor who is a member at Mar-a-Lago and a golfing partner of Donald Trump's. He is also a totally credulous dope who believes every pro-Trump conspiracy.
