I spent October traveling to schools throughout the South talking to students about American history. What I found were young people who understand we can tell a story that includes both the positive and the negative. As one 8th grader in Memphis said, “Doesn’t seem that hard, just say both things.”

FWIW rightwing twitter appears on the list I keep to be running higher than 9-1 Trump/MTG. I don't think this is the big MAGA split one might hope. Some would say I'm a pessimist--I don't think scandal or defection will ever take down Trump. I think I'm an optimist: I believe organizing will.

The Saudis are meeting with Trump tomorrow. There is a lot they want from the US govt. And they have been enriching Trump and his family over the past several months with one deal after another to make sure they get it. Something tells me they will get what they want.
