Trump and Republicans took $1 trillion out of Medicaid and Medicare and gave it to the wealthy in his big beautiful Bill. The idea that the country can’t support affordable healthcare for citizens is ridiculous. These are policy choices. The Republicans support the wealthy. End of story.

I keep thinking those ICE agents are fake in many ways. The way teens, women, seniors ... well, people keep getting thrown to paved surfaces reminds me of the battle waged against stronger law enforcement agents on Jan 6. The disregard for the well being of other humans, citizens or not, is

Reporters: stop using the deferential term "detaining" when talking about ICE goons' abduction of innocent people from US streets. You proper term would indeed by "abduction", but if you want to pretend neutrality you could use "capture", which at least says nothing about the captors' motives.

A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!
