On the Thursday before last I lost one of my lovely ladies, Flash (the one on the left) passed away early that morning from injuries sustained in an accident. I have to find a new friend for Speckle but it’s so hard to move on.

I don’t quite know how to put it succinctly, but Frank Miller’s Holy Terror is kind of the rosetta stone to understanding the way the American conservative brain works in the current moment (right down the Israel stuff as well)

So yeah, what Trump said about Gaza is not good but don’t forget that a modern advanced military force just spent more than a year trying to take over Gaza and failed miserably so idk if what he’s proposed is even possible with the strength of Hamas’s resistance

I think people are right when they criticise Bluesky for being a bit too sanitised (atm anyway), the recently added ability to selectively remove your posts from quotes is kind of emblematic of the problem
