Finland has a goal to be net zero GHG emissions by 2035.
Emissions were declining, the LULUCF removals were strong, the plan was looking good, but then LULUCF collapsed.

The EPP, as the largest party in the EU Parliament & presumably(!) in line with VdL’s pretty words about climate protection green innovation etc, should have stood up to field the lead MEP for the climate legislation yday, or voted to limit the Patriots control of the agenda today.

I wish more prominent scientists would speak out about what is happening under Trump.
Yes, there is a real threat to one's livelihood of doing so. Being a scientist has been my lifelong dream, but there's honest work I can do outside of science, and I'd rather do that than serve the current regime.
