The government says it’s committed to making improvements, tackling declining bird population, etc. With any “project” don’t you always look for “low-hanging fruit?” Surely this qualifies?

I too have come onside with the idea of digital ID, having been skeptical during the Blair era.
But can we call it something other than "Brit Card"?
A) It's a tacky sounding name.
B) Technically inaccurate for people in Northern Island.
