The cities backwards approach to the crisis downtown has continued to spiral out of control (predictably) the cold weather response means nothing when it continues to allow the sweeping of camps in deadly weather.
We need more shelters and housing, amputations from frostbite are preventable. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

If it happens here, we'll say "Don't get used to it. This never happens. 13 months of -40°C, etc".
(in December they average around 9 5°C days, and for us it's 3)

I feel like I slipped into the societally-carved path of being a salaried, car-dependent, house person. I've changed, and there's an argument that I've changed and learned good things as well, but often I feel like a traitor to transit advocacy and art advocacy when I go to my job.
