when I was 4, my mom would sketch fashion plate type illustrations that I liked looking at, and then I discovered my older brother's macross/robotech sketches in the closet. bc the cousin who lived with us was an otaku, I watched anime pretty young and read their indonesian copies of sailor moon
With all this awful news going on i wanna ask this question once again to fellow artists and general creatives. What got YOU into art? what sparked that motivation to start writing? what made you wanna pick up a camera and start taking pics? Like share with us your reasons.

Another way to think about it is there are three standard shot sizes in cinematography, and while comics is so much more than film, knowing some camera basics can help:
* WIDE: Shows whole body (inc feet!). Great for showing environment, spatial relationships, big action / comedy. (1/more)
