I think the intrigue with big foot is not actually the hunt, that seems to be more like the introductory hook. It's rather: "What's he up to when not observed? Is he responsible for my fortune? Is he controlling something?". Basically, the usual strongman shit. Probably holds for all cryptozoology.

@tjblakely.bsky.social still had some gas in the tank after an enjoyable DK64CS run (Reverse Clue Rampage) so we decided to have another impromptu 5 Kong race, 3rd run back since the big break. I can't overstate how much I love what @100thcoin.bsky.social does. His latest innovation is *swapping cartridges multiple times per instruction executed*, in order to beat games at truly absurd speeds. This required, among other things, making a whole new emulator:

Anyone know of a good s-video + audio distribution amplifier for N64 capture? I used to have one of these (pictured) but the audio channels started distorting horribly and it ran really hot, wouldn't buy again.
